The USC Freehand Prosthetic Team is an organization within 3D4E that uses 3D printing technology to design and produce prosthetics for patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The pancake printer (Mr. PancakeBot Jr.) synthesizes creative mechanical design and CNC software to print unique designs in batter. The food-safe project utilized 3D printed components, salvaged parts, and microcontroller electronics.
